Frequently asked questions
A few answers to keep you moving.
Does my Orek license expire?
Your purchased Orek software license is perpetual. Model-provider usage is billed separately. Review the offer for the license terms and any update coverage before purchasing.
Which model providers can I use?
Choose a cloud or local provider compatible with the OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic protocols Orek supports. Configure your provider keys in Orek on your machine.
Where can I download Orek?
Download the installer or platform archive directly from the public download page (no sign-in required). Check the release-status guide for current platform availability and installation limits.
How do I activate my license?
Run orek license login on your device to approve it in your browser, or open Licenses in your console to generate an activation key or activate an offline device. Your Orek license is separate from your AI provider API keys.
What if I cannot sign in?
Use the same sign-in method and account you used for your purchase. The sign-in page includes recovery links for Google and GitHub.
What should I include in a bug report?
Include your Orek version, operating system, the steps to reproduce the issue, and what you expected to happen. Remove credentials and private project content from anything you share.
How do I report a security vulnerability?
Submit security disclosures through the contact form below with [Security] at the start of your message. Include the affected version and steps to reproduce, and never include live API keys, tokens, or private repository contents.
Need a hand?
Send a question or report a problem using the form below, and our team will get back to you.
For a bug report, include your Orek version and the steps that led to the problem. Leave out passwords, API keys, and private project content.
Use orek feedback to prepare a local feedback report or orek bug-report to preview diagnostics and crash metadata. Review and save the report, then choose what to share here. These commands do not upload reports.
